Last nite I finally finished my poetry assignment. I really didn't know what to write about so I took Tawni's idea and decided to write about our friendship. Was only supposed to be around 7 lines but instead turned into a 36 line poem called Unexpected Friendship Version 2 (Version 1 was a 60+ lined poem that even I didn't finish, if I did which I may it could end up being 100+....crazy although it's almost like a timeline). Anyways yeah I got a flow going so I didn't mind making it longer than expected. I'm a little exhausted from all the poetry but it was really nice venting some of emotions out. Anyways here it is.....enjoy I guess

Unexpected Friendship Version 2

A gleam of hope
Among the sea of darkness
Overlooked by the foolish
Cherished by the wise

What started as an accident 5
Turned into a prize
Unnoticed by the senses
It snuck in to the side

Started as a bother
Just an acquaintance at first 10
Not really considered a friend
An outsider to tell the truth

But as time began to pass
Things began to change
Words started to come out 15
Things you’d think I’d never say

Soon no longer a stranger
But a partner in crime to be precise
Seashells began to open up
Unexplainable to this very day 20

The growth became exponential
Never seeing any of it’s kind
Obstacles had shown its form
Yet trivial it had come to be

Even when confronted by the darkness 25
It showed no wilt or crumble
Even the “secret” could not make it stumble
Something I have never seen before

Amazed at all the trial and tribulation
It held strong due to motivation 30
Always fearing it could leave
She put my fears to rest with ease

Knowing I have someone to trust
She can count on me not to bust
To protect her from the darkness 35
Stick with her, never leave or desert

For those who need some more explanation lets see........... "Darkness" is a symbol for mainly Ian, " Overlooked by the foolish" is the presumptions, "partner in crime" came from some time when she wrote in my blog, "seashells" meant my personal shell, "secret" was of course the secret I hid from her, and finally "stick with her, never leave or desert" was saying that I wouldn't scare away. Anyways yup somewhat cryptic but I thought it came out pretty good seeing how I did it all last nite at midnite.

Anyways hmmm...... today in English i decided to read "The person I once was" for class tomorrow. In marketing Bunton was gone so David ditched and picked me up a jumbo jack. The sub was pretty cool pretty much turning his back so we could eat in class. In Bio, hmmm.....failed my test, Tawni seemed a little down so I tried to cheer her up a little...... lunch I went with Adam and Frank to Taco bell then talked to Ian. I told him I couldn't kick it today cuz I had to study Bio. (half-true)....... Math I got a 95% on my test which is cool and a 91%overall. Unfortunately we still have one quiz left to fuck up my grade. Afterschool Brandon Mc, Craig, and Rich came over for a little, I picked up my lil sis, raced Angelo for a little, beat him, now I'm home.......

Random Things....

Just have to last this last week then I'll be good. I just have a bunch of floating A's in all my classes (dunno bout my bio class)......

tired right now, but no nap time for me......
